Festival Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to Jim-N-I Metal Massacre! We’re excited to have you join us for an unforgettable weekend of music, community, and chaos (the good kind). To keep everyone safe and ensure a great experience for all, please read and follow these rules:

1. General Conduct

  1. Respect Others – No harassment, fighting, hate speech, or abusive behavior of any kind will be tolerated.

  2. Follow Volunteer & Staff  Directions – Security and event volunteers and staff are here to help. Please cooperate with all official instructions.

  3. No Unauthorized Entry – You must have a valid ticket or wristband to enter festival grounds.

  4. Keep It Clean – Dispose of trash properly. Respect the venue, nature, and our community.

  5. Knives – Camping and utility knives are permitted for practical use only. Any knife used or displayed in a threatening or unsafe manner will result in immediate law enforcement involvement and removal from the festival without refund.

  6. No Weapons – Firearms, fireworks, explosives, and other weapons are strictly prohibited.

  7. No Illegal Substances – The use or possession of illegal drugs or substances is prohibited.

2. Tickets, Wristbands & Re-Entry

  1. Tickets are required for entry and must be presented at the gate upon arrival or be located at will call.

  2. Tickets will be exchanged for a wristband, which must be worn at all times during the event.

  3. Wristbands are non-transferable and void if removed, cut, or tampered with.

  4. Lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced — please treat them like cash.

  5. Re-entry is only permitted with a valid, intact wristband.

  6. All attendees are subject to security screenings and possession checks upon reasonable suspicion.

3. Alcohol Policy
  1. Outside alcohol is allowed within camping and festival areas.

  2. Glass containers are prohibited in all stage and performance areas.

  3. Alcohol may only be consumed by those 21+ with valid ID.

  4. Anyone under the age of 21 who is found drinking or intoxicated will be immediately reported to law enforcement and removed from the festival without refund.

  5. Please drink responsibly — disorderly or unsafe behavior may result in immediate law enforcement involvement and removal from the festival without refund.

4. Camping & Parking
  1. Tent camping is included with festival admission — no additional fee or parking pass included for tents.

  2. Pop-ups, pull-behinds, and RVs require a fee of $25.00 per day, which includes a parking pass for the hauling vehicle.

  3. No parking passes are needed for tent campers who park their vehicles in the lot outside of the gate.

  4. Quiet hours are from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM — no amplified music during this time.

  5. Campfires are only permitted within a fire ring.

  6. Parking in the main lot outside of the gate is free.

  7. To park your vehicle at your campsite, you will need to purchase a $10 parking pass at the gate.

  8. Vehicles with passes are not allowed to be moving when the music is playing and will not be permitted through the gate while music is in progress.

  9. Keep vehicles within designated spaces; unauthorized parking may result in towing.

  10. Respect your neighbors — keep campsites clean, avoid trespassing, and maintain a positive atmosphere.

5. Photography, Media & Recording
  1. Personal and professional photography, audio, and video recording equipment are allowed.

  2. Please be respectful when photographing or filming bands and attendees.

  3. Drones are only permitted with prior approval from festival management.

  4. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness in festival photos, videos, and promotional materials.

6. Minors & Families
  1. This is an all-ages event. Parental discretion is advised.

  2. Minors 15 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

  3. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and conduct of minors in their care.

7. Animals
  • Only service animals as defined by the ADA are permitted on festival grounds.

  • Emotional support animals or pets are not allowed.

8. Weather & Emergencies
  1. The festival is rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe.

  2. Follow all weather alerts and emergency announcements promptly.

  3. Emergency medical staff will be on-site — don’t hesitate to seek help if needed.

9. Prohibited Items
  1. Firearms, fireworks, or explosives

  2. Illegal drugs or paraphernalia

  3. Laser pointers

  4. No glass containers in the stage and performance areas.

  5. Drones (without prior approval)

10. Liability & Enforcement
  1. All attendees enter at their own risk. The festival, its organizers, and venue are not responsible for loss, theft, injury, or damage.

  2. Violation of any rule may result in immediate removal from the festival without refund.

  3. Festival staff, volunteers, and security reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone for any reason deemed necessary for safety.
